Description: This NWT range of collared pika was developed by GNWT Environment and Climate Change HQ (Joanna Wilson and Tejumade Ojo)in December 2025 to reflect information in the Management Plan for the Collared Pika (Ochotona collaris) in Canada (Environment and Climate Change Canada 2023; see figure 2). The spatial data from Figure 2of the management plan was obtained from Kirsten Wilcox, Environment and Climate Change Canada. It was originally created by the the NatureServe EBAR (Ecosystem-based automated range maps) team. In the NWT, the component ecoshapes were Level IV ecoregions from the NWT Ecological Land Classification. All ecoregions where collared pika were designated to be"present" or "presence expected" were combined to produce this NWT range
