Description: This Raster dataset represents June temperature data extracted from Environment Canada Historical weather data from the 30-year normals. It is interpolated across the study areas and combine with other monthly temperature data and is one of two inputs to the climate variable. Its use is limited to the NWT Agricultural Potential model and project. The general approach to creating a climate variable for the study area consist of three main processes. The first creates a continuous interpolated temperature raster that covers the entire study area. The second normalizes the snow melt data to create a snow melt surface for the study area and the third combines the temperature data and snow melt data adjusts to reflect adiabatic processes which creates a final climate variable
