Surveys are carried out by Certified Land Surveyors under the general instructions of the Surveyor General. </SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;"><SPAN>Attribute definitions</SPAN></SPAN><SPAN><SPAN>:</SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Lease Number: The Sequential unique whole numbers that are automatically generated by the Mineral Information Tenure System (MITS) database and preceded by “NT-”. </SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Owner(s): The name(s) of the owner(s) and the percentage of the ownership in ().</SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Status: The current status of the Lease (Pending, Active, Cancelled etc.)</SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Annual Rent: The rent per annum is $2.50 per hectare for the first 21 years and $5.00 per hectare for the subsequent 21 year renewals of the lease.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Issue Date: The issue date is the date is the same as Commencement Date.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Commencement Date: The date when the lease takes effect which is the day after the anniversary date of the claim. </SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Signed Date: The date when a lease is signed on behalf of the Minister. </SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Rent Due Date: The date when the rent is next due. Interest will be calculated if the rent is paid after this date.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Term Expiry Date: The date when the term of the lease expires.
