This data is used to represent the outlines of vegetation features within each community of the Northwest Territories. It provides a base to be used for land management purposes in representing the vegetation within the communities. This data set is not to be used for defining the exact location of vegetation features; administrative decisions should be based on legal documents and legal survey plans.
Vegetation Polygons: This data represents such features as trees, clearings, scrub brush, cut lines, rock outcrops, frost polygons, pingos, etc. within each community of the Northwest Territories.
